What it's for

Five things a daily teaspoon is working on.

Turmeric has been studied for decades, and most of that work is about one compound and whether the body can absorb it. Below is what a daily cup is working on, and what the research actually examines.

Read the research, benefit by benefit

A food, not a medicine. We describe what researchers investigate, not what this drink will do for you.

01
Joint comfort

The most studied use. Trials look at whether curcumin eases stiffness and soreness in knees and hands over weeks, not days.

Joints
02
Everyday inflammation

Research examines markers of inflammation in blood, and whether a daily dose moves them over a sustained period.

03
Digestion

Ginger is investigated for nausea and gastric emptying; turmeric for bile flow and general gut comfort.

04
Recovery after exercise

Studies look at muscle soreness and recovery time in trained and untrained people alike.

05
Sleep and wind-down

Less about the spices than the ritual — a warm, caffeine-free drink at a consistent hour.

Joints

Most trials use concentrated curcumin extracts at doses well above a culinary teaspoon, usually with a bioavailability enhancer.

Absorption

Curcumin is poorly absorbed alone. Piperine from black pepper is the most studied way to raise it, which is why it is in the blend.

Dose

What research investigates and what a daily cup provides are not the same thing. We state the milligrams so you can judge.

The ritual

Sixty seconds, once a day

Straight off the back of the pouch. Heat the milk, take it off before it boils, stir the blend through.

1
Heat the milk

250 ml of whatever milk you drink. Take it off before it boils — scalding flattens the spice.

2
Stir the blend through

One level teaspoon. Whisk or stir hard for ten seconds so the turmeric doesn't sit on top.

3
Drink it warm

Same time each night, ideally. The ritual is doing as much work as the blend.

Questions

Before you order

Still unsure? Ask us anything — replies come from the person who blends it.

How much turmeric is in a serve?

1200 mg of organic turmeric in a 2.8 g teaspoon, alongside 120 mg of black pepper. The pepper is not a garnish — piperine is the most studied way to raise curcumin absorption. Every ingredient and its milligrams are listed above.

Is there any caffeine in it?

None. It is a turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, maca and black pepper blend stirred through warm milk, made to be drunk at night.

Can I skip, pause or cancel?

Skip, pause, swap flavour or cancel from your account — no email required. Thirty-five serves is about a month of nightly cups.

What if I don't like it?

Drink the whole pouch. If it isn't for you, we refund it — thirty days, opened is fine.

Is it safe while pregnant or breastfeeding?
